Google Research Credits

NVIDIA Academic Program

4. Use spot/preemptible instances. On AWS, spot instances cost 60-90% less than on-demand. Your instance can be interrupted, but with proper checkpointing, you just resume.
5. Cache everything. Preprocessed datasets, tokenized text, computed embeddings — cache them to disk so you don't waste GPU time on preprocessing.
